CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE 2017/2018

All students in Architecture Department UII (Bachelor, PPAr, Mars) are invited to join International Student Exchanges from sister universities. The programs are available starting from Winter Semester (Semester Genap) 2017/2018 onward:

A. Wismar Applied Science University Germany

  1. International Workshop 2018 (WIW)
    The event will be held in Wismar University on May 2018. Two bachelor students and one professional program or one master student from Architecture UII are applicable to submit. The students awarded with this program are free from the program fee and accommodation in Wismar. Flight and other expenses are on participant’s responsibility. However there is an opportunity to get financial support from DAAD (will be informed later).
  2. Student Exchange (WSE)
    Maximum two students from bachelor or master program may join one semester in Wismar University. Courses completed in Wismar will be acknowledged and transferred to UII’s transcript. The awarded students are free from tuition fee in Wismar but still prepare flight and accommodation cost while in Germany.
  3. Fast-track Program (WFP)
    Students of UII in 4th (S1) and 5th year (PPAr) can continue their study directly in Master in Arts (MA) Program in Wismar.

B. Fatih Sultan Mehmet University Istanbul Turkey

  1. Summer School Istanbul 2018 (FSS)
    The 6th Summer School UII-FSMU will be held in Istanbul July-August 2018 (mostly 30 days). All architecture students starting from 3th semester from bachelor program are invited. Accommodation and local transportation will be provided by FSMVU. Student has to prepare cost for flight and personal expenses while in Istanbul.
  2. Student Exchange (FSE)
    Maximum of two students both from bachelor and postgraduate program have chance to take one or two semesters in FSMU Istanbul. Courses taken from the program will be transferred to the UII’s transcript. There is no tuition fee for the program, but student has to prepare flight and accommodation while in Istanbul. There is also an opportunity from Eurasmus-Plus Program to have financial support for this program (will be informed later).

Note:

  • All the programs are open for students with TOEFL score minimum 525 or IELTS 6.0
  • All students from International Class (IC) Program are eligible for the program related and no need to submit English proficiency score.
  • Submit your form and the attachments (academic transcript & certificate of English proficiency) to the department office no later than November 30th 2017.
