Syarifah Ismailiyah Al Athas

SYARIFAH ISMAILIYAH AL ATHAS is a lecturer at Department of Architecture Universitas Islam Indonesia in Sleman, Yogyakarta. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2008 and 2012. Before her current career, she worked as a Junior Architect at Akanoma Architect (Yu Sing Architectural Consultant), where she provided an assistantship on the design process under the mentorship of Yu Sing. She actively joined the research team on her master study period as a research assistant. During her work since 2013 after she joined as lecturer in Department of Architecture Universitas Islam Indonesia, her research focus has been in the field of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for Architecture, Engineering and Construction Sustainability, and Computer and Algorithm-Aided Design (CAAD) which some of her works were presented in meetings and published in scientific articles and journal. Her main interest is in CAAD-BIM for Sustainability, in which she found that technological approach especially in Computer and Algorithm Aided Design and Building Information Modeling helped students and architects in their projects, and to envision a better built environment.
